(1) 修飾句子主語，表示主語所處的狀態或主語同時進行的另一個較謂語動詞次要的動作。

Chased by my dear pet cat, the mouse dashed into a small hole.( 狀態 )

(2) 修飾謂語動詞，表示原因、時間等。
