vi. 登廣告，做廣告：

1. 用作及物或不及物動(dòng)詞時(shí)含義不同：
advertise sth指為某物做廣告，即登廣告宣傳某物，advertise for sth指登廣告征求或?qū)ふ夷澄�，其中�?for表目的。注意，不要受漢語(yǔ)的影響而譯錯(cuò)，如“你要想賣掉你的產(chǎn)品, 你就得為此登廣告”譯成英語(yǔ)應(yīng)是：
If you want to sell your product you must advertise it. 而不是：
If you want to sell your product you must advertise for it.
2. 用作及物動(dòng)詞時(shí)，其后通常接名詞或代詞作賓語(yǔ)，雖然有時(shí)也接that從句，但通常會(huì)改為advertise the fact that…：
They advertised that a position was open. 他們登出廣告說(shuō)有一個(gè)空職位。
Don’t advertise the fact that you’re looking for another job. 不要讓別人知道你在另找工作。
3. 要加強(qiáng)其語(yǔ)意，可用heavily, widely等副詞修飾：
