圣誕節傳統歌曲《平安夜》介紹
This carol was written in 1818, in the Tyrolean village of Hallein, by the local church organist Franz Gruber and a schoolmaster called Joseph Mohr. This resulted in one of the most popular of all carols.
1818年在奧地利一個名叫奧本多夫的小鎮上住著一個默默無聞的'鄉村神父——摩爾。這年圣誕節，摩爾發現教堂里的管風琴被老鼠咬壞了，修理已經來不及了。怎么慶祝圣誕呢?摩爾為此悶悶不樂。他忽然想起《路加福音》里記載著，耶穌降生時，天使向白冷郊外的牧羊人報佳音后，高唱頌歌："天主受享榮福于天，良人受享太平于地。"他靈機一動，根據這兩句經文寫成一首贊美詩，取名《平安夜》。摩爾寫好歌詞后拿給本鎮小學教師葛路伯看，請他譜曲。葛路伯讀完歌詞很受感動，譜好曲，第二天在教堂里演唱，大受歡迎。
后來有兩個商人路過這里，學會了這首歌，他們為普魯士國王威廉四世演唱，威廉四世聽后大加贊賞，下令把《平安夜》定為全國教堂過圣誕節時必唱的歌曲之一。于是，這首不朽的作品一直傳唱至今。
