          One last great tip about the actual interview: Always end the interview with, "I am very interested in the position. What are the next steps to take?" Boy, are you eager? They'd be lucky to have you!

          Have questions of your own. Toward the end of interview. the interviewer is going to lean into you and say," Do you have any questions for me? You must have questions. First, don't rush into your answer. Look as if you are thinking about whether you have any questions and then ask an appropriate one from the list you've thought about beforehand. Here is a handful of potential questions:

          How would you describe a typical workday?/What is the best part of working at this company for you? /Are there significant opportunities to take seminars, classes to learn more about the different facets of the company?/Why did you join the company?

          Interviewers love to talk about themselves, so these questions will win them over every time.

          Have answers ready for these popular interview questions:

          Tell me a little about yourself./What interests you most about this position?/Where so you see yourself in 5,10,20 years?/What is your ultimate career goal?/tell me about a project that had a tough problem that you solved./What are your greatest strengths?/What did you like about your last job?/What separates you from other candidates?/How do your previous experience/academic preparation and college activities relate to this work?

          Most importantly, sell yourself as a problem solver. Think about the work you have done, the job you had in college, volunteer work you did, or the club that you founded. Then proceed to illustrate how you solved a particular problem by breaking that experience into three parts:1)The problem you encountered,2)How you analyzed it, and 3)The solution you implemented.

          The best thin you can do for your interviewers is to make his/her job easier. If interviewers walk out after talking to you feeling like they carried the weight of the conversation, which is a strike against you. But if your exchange leaves them with a feeling of,"Hey, I enjoyed that," that could move you that much closer to hearing that you got the job.

          First is the trap question, which comes up in almost every interview. The trap question is some variaton on" What is the area you need most improvement in? "or" What is your area of weakness?" The real answer may be that you have are lousy to attention detail or that you are incredibly shy. Whatever you do, don't share your personal weaknesses. Instead, try to find something to say that isn't a real weakness,but a slightly less-than-ideal characteristic. For example: "I prefer to see a project through from start to finish rather than working on a single component and never seeing the finished product. I sometimes find it a bit frustrating to work without that overall context."" Sometimes I have a hard time saying no to people, and I end up taking on more than my share of work." If you really can't think of anything to say, you can always go with this time-tesed (albeit cliched) comeback: "I'm a perfectionist. I need to improve on not being so hard on myself and making sure I get everything right. "

          Be on the lookout for questions about why you left your old company and why you are interested in the new one. These questions(or their offspring) are designed to make sure your interest in the new company is sincere and not due to you being fired and/or having the interviewer throws at you:"Why were you fired?"keep the answer simple and brief."It was a hostile environment in which many people were let go,"is a good way to handle it.

          5態(tài)度要不卑不亢,不要一聽(tīng)對(duì)方認(rèn)為你干不了,你就乞求對(duì)方。因?yàn)橛萌藛挝徊粫?huì)因可憐誰(shuí)就錄用誰(shuí)的。

          二、你為什么有興趣到這里找工作?

          用人單位對(duì)某些學(xué)歷、資歷比較高的求職者常提類(lèi)似的問(wèn)題,其意圖是:1怕這人將來(lái)"跳槽",工作不安心,把新工作當(dāng)成一塊跳板。2進(jìn)一步考驗(yàn)這種人,看他們有沒(méi)有決心到這里來(lái)踏實(shí)工作。3多用反問(wèn)句、設(shè)問(wèn)句的口氣提出,考察應(yīng)聘者的態(tài)度變化。答問(wèn)策略:

          1應(yīng)聘人聽(tīng)到這類(lèi)提問(wèn)應(yīng)該推斷出自己的條件還不錯(cuò),用人單位可能出于擔(dān)心自己不安心所致。所以要態(tài)度誠(chéng)懇地指出有興趣來(lái)此的原因:

          (a)專(zhuān)業(yè)對(duì)口;

          (b)公司有發(fā)展;

          (c)工作環(huán)境優(yōu)越;

          (d)聽(tīng)朋友介紹這家公司的老板是"伯樂(lè)";

          (e)有更多到外國(guó)工作的機(jī)會(huì);

          (f)經(jīng)常出差適合自己的興趣;

          (g)離家近;

          (h)福利待遇特別好,等等。(只需點(diǎn)出即可,不必大加渲染)

          2以比較堅(jiān)決的口氣表白自己如何喜歡這個(gè)部門(mén)并愿為它效勞。

          3別忙中出錯(cuò)或言多語(yǔ)失。比如對(duì)方是一個(gè)臺(tái)灣人開(kāi)的公司,你卻說(shuō):"我很希望為泰國(guó)的公司工作,泰國(guó)是一個(gè)美麗的發(fā)展中國(guó)家。"這會(huì)讓對(duì)方啼笑皆非的。

          面試難題的應(yīng)答策略 (下)

          三、你自認(rèn)為有什么優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)?

          主試人想通過(guò)這一類(lèi)問(wèn)題的解答了解到:

          1、這個(gè)人能否對(duì)自己做出正確的估價(jià)。因?yàn)椴荒芄烙?jì)自己的人,往往也不會(huì)正確地評(píng)價(jià)自己的工作;

          2、主試人最關(guān)注的是該人的缺點(diǎn)、弱點(diǎn),如這方面的問(wèn)題比較突出,那就不適合做某項(xiàng)工作。

          答問(wèn)策略:

          1、參加面試前,應(yīng)對(duì)個(gè)人的優(yōu)點(diǎn)缺點(diǎn)有所認(rèn)識(shí),必要時(shí)聽(tīng)聽(tīng)家人或朋友的評(píng)價(jià)。千萬(wàn)不要一聽(tīng)對(duì)方問(wèn)這類(lèi)問(wèn)題就不知如何是好了。

          2、最忌諱的是無(wú)所謂的態(tài)度,比如:"我也沒(méi)什么優(yōu)點(diǎn),也談不上什么缺點(diǎn),我這個(gè)人嘛,一般就是了!""誰(shuí)還沒(méi)個(gè)缺點(diǎn)?我有是有,可是一下子也講不清楚,管它呢?quot;--這種回答,容易給人以玩世不恭的感覺(jué),很難委以重要的職位。

          3、自己的優(yōu)點(diǎn)、長(zhǎng)處,缺點(diǎn)、短處都應(yīng)老老實(shí)實(shí)地講,態(tài)度越是誠(chéng)懇、真摯,對(duì)方越對(duì)你有好感,不一定會(huì)減少聘用的機(jī)會(huì)。

          4、會(huì)講話的人大都善于運(yùn)用個(gè)人的優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)把這篇大文章作好。下面,我們列出幾條,你看自己有沒(méi)有,又怎么利用它巧妙地介紹自己:

          對(duì)應(yīng)聘有利的優(yōu)點(diǎn):

          --好學(xué)習(xí)、肯鉆研。

          --腦子好使,記憶力強(qiáng)。

          --辦事認(rèn)真,一絲不茍。

          --有干勁,不惜力。

          --好相處,跟誰(shuí)都合得來(lái)。

          --有比較豐富的閱歷。

          --喜歡接受挑戰(zhàn)性的課題。

          --不交女友(男友)不成家。

          對(duì)應(yīng)聘有利的缺點(diǎn):

          --有名利思想:

          (a)別人說(shuō)我是個(gè)人主義、名利思想。

          (b)別人認(rèn)為我好出風(fēng)頭,追求名利地位。

          (c)沒(méi)名沒(méi)利的事,我不大樂(lè)意干。(名利思想的另一面,是有所作為,不甘寂寞。只要認(rèn)真對(duì)待,克服短處,可以從事開(kāi)拓創(chuàng)新的工作。)

          --急脾氣

          (a)工作要是干不好,我打心里起急,非得干好不成。

          (b)誰(shuí)要干活投機(jī)取巧,我老跟人家發(fā)脾氣。

          (c)遇到磨洋工的人,我就跟他急!

          --有時(shí)主觀:

          (a)別人要說(shuō)服我,可不容易了,你擺不出事實(shí)、證據(jù)來(lái),我還是堅(jiān)持個(gè)人的主見(jiàn)。

          (b)我不會(huì)讓人牽鼻子走,確實(shí)很主觀。

          (c)我有時(shí)會(huì)跟同事?tīng)?zhēng),因?yàn)樗麄冋f(shuō)服不了我,說(shuō)我太主觀了。

          --不拘小節(jié):

          (a)我這個(gè)人,大事頭腦清醒,可小事又不拘小節(jié)。

          (b)我經(jīng)常忽略一些小事,這是不細(xì)心的表現(xiàn)。

          (c)您可別讓我處理瑣碎的事,我這人太不細(xì)心。(該人或許從事開(kāi)拓性的工作較為合適。)

          --摳門(mén)兒、吝嗇:

          (a)時(shí)代變了,我還是一分錢(qián)掰兩半地花,招人討厭。

          (b)別人跟我吵,很多時(shí)候是嫌我管錢(qián)太死,說(shuō)我"摳門(mén)兒到家"了。我就是老改不了!(該人適合管理財(cái)務(wù)工作)。

          (c)單位里的年輕人給我起了一個(gè)難聽(tīng)的外號(hào):"吝嗇鬼",想來(lái)想去這是我的缺點(diǎn)。

          --害羞、膽。

          (a)別人說(shuō)我是"大姑娘",害羞,見(jiàn)不得大世面,只能干些看攤的工作。(該人適合做文秘、打字員、保管員等工作)

          (b)我這個(gè)人生來(lái)膽子小,別說(shuō)違法的事,就連上班也不敢遲到,怕人家議論。

          (c)許多事未經(jīng)請(qǐng)示,我是絕對(duì)不敢干的。膽小怕事嘛。(膽小,未必是弱點(diǎn)。有些工作交給膽大的人去干,領(lǐng)導(dǎo)還真不放心呢。)

          --不顧家:

          (a)我這個(gè)人家庭觀念太差,干起活來(lái)老是不顧家。

          (b)我老婆老說(shuō)我:"你呀,腦子里只有公司,沒(méi)有公館(指住處)。""你干脆住在公司算了。"所以,我不是一個(gè)好丈夫。

          (c)我不是一個(gè)事業(yè)、家庭兩全的人物。腦子里只有事業(yè),哪還有家庭?大家都像我這樣可就麻煩了。

          5在談及個(gè)人的優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)時(shí),最好以一種自我反省的語(yǔ)氣說(shuō)才能給人以良好印象。

          四、你善于與什么人相處?

          主試人是出于某些職位、行業(yè)的特殊需要才提出類(lèi)似問(wèn)題的。通過(guò)提問(wèn),了解該人能否與同事溝通營(yíng)造良好的辦公環(huán)境,提高辦公效率,能否對(duì)外打開(kāi)局面,廣為結(jié)識(shí)顧客群,以便更好地完成調(diào)查、促銷(xiāo)等任務(wù)。答問(wèn)策略:

          1應(yīng)聘者應(yīng)以親切、輕松的語(yǔ)氣談?wù)摯祟?lèi)話題,給人以通達(dá)、開(kāi)朗、熱情的印象。這印象本身就在說(shuō)明你這個(gè)人很好相處。如果你的態(tài)度又拘謹(jǐn)、又嚴(yán)肅,倒證明你這個(gè)人不好相交。

          2談及領(lǐng)導(dǎo)問(wèn)題時(shí)應(yīng)格外慎重。對(duì)領(lǐng)導(dǎo),不存在你喜歡不喜歡的問(wèn)題,因?yàn)槟悴幌矚g,人家仍然是領(lǐng)導(dǎo)。所以應(yīng)當(dāng)從領(lǐng)導(dǎo)與被領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的關(guān)系上談?wù)摓楹谩?/p>

          3老好人,好好先生--這種人跟誰(shuí)都合得來(lái)。但某些行業(yè)(如警察、質(zhì)檢員等)或某些職位,就不適宜這種人干。所以談話時(shí),要想到這一點(diǎn)。

          4如果是剛畢業(yè)的大學(xué)生或是其他剛走出校門(mén)的學(xué)生,回答這種問(wèn)題講些學(xué)校生活同學(xué)之間的交友事例就行了。

          五、你為什么經(jīng)常想調(diào)動(dòng)工作?

          主試人提出這類(lèi)可能令你感到難堪、尷尬的問(wèn)題,其意圖有二:一是深入了解你申請(qǐng)新工作的內(nèi)在動(dòng)因,是嫌過(guò)去的工資低?還是本人能力差、表現(xiàn)不好而讓人辭退?還是生性好動(dòng),老是這山望著那山高,哪兒都呆不住、呆不長(zhǎng)?等等。而這些恰恰是所有用人單位最討厭的地方。二是考察該人的工作態(tài)度和應(yīng)變能力。答問(wèn)策略:

          1這類(lèi)問(wèn)題都是非常敏感的話題,答問(wèn)時(shí)宜慎重思考、從容作答。

          2問(wèn)及為什么"跳槽"時(shí),不宜強(qiáng)調(diào)的理由有:

          (a)市場(chǎng)不景氣,是隨大溜被辭退的(主試人會(huì)想:為什么不把你留下來(lái)呢?);

          (b)跟原單位的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)不和;

          (c)想多掙錢(qián);

          (d)想找離家近點(diǎn)的地方,等等。這類(lèi)回答易使用人單位覺(jué)得你不是最好的職工,弄不好你會(huì)故伎重演,所以要小心對(duì)待。

          3問(wèn)及為什么"跳槽"時(shí),比較有意思的理由(真有的話):

          (a)能實(shí)現(xiàn)個(gè)人的抱負(fù);

          (b)有更大的機(jī)會(huì)獲得提升和發(fā)展;

          (c)欣聞貴公司要擴(kuò)展業(yè)務(wù),想施展個(gè)人的才能以報(bào)效社會(huì),等等。

          這里只是幾個(gè)常見(jiàn)的英文面試問(wèn)題,以供參考,多見(jiàn)于外企

          What Are Your Weaknesses?

          This is the most dreaded question of all. Handle it by minimizing your weakness and emphasizing your strengths. Stay away from personal qualities and concentrate on professional traits: "I am always working on improving my communication skills to be a more effective presenter. I recently joined Toastmasters, which I find very helpful."

          Why Should We Hire You?

          Summarize your experiences: "With five years' experience working in the financial industry and my proven record of saving the company money, I could make a big difference in your company. I'm confident I would be a great addition to your team."

          Why Do You Want to Work Here?

          The interviewer is listening for an answer that indicates you've given this some thought and are not sending out resumes just because there is an opening. For example, "I've selected key companies whose mission statements are in line with my values, where I know I could be excited about what the company does, and this company is very high on my list of desirable choices."

          What Are Your Goals?

          Sometimes it's best to talk about short-term and intermediate goals rather than locking yourself into the distant future. For example, "My immediate goal is to get a job in a growth-oriented company. My long-term goal will depend on where the company goes. I hope to eventually grow into a position of responsibility."

          Why Did You Leave (Are You Leaving) Your Job?

          If you're unemployed, state your reason for leaving in a positive context: "I managed to survive two rounds of corporate downsizing, but the third round was a 20 percent reduction in the workforce, which included me."

          If you are employed, focus on what you want in your next job: "After two years, I made the decision to look for a company that is team-focused, where I can add my experience."

          When Were You Most Satisfied in Your Job?

          The interviewer wants to know what motivates you. If you can relate an example of a job or project when you were excited, the interviewer will get an idea of your preferences. "I was very satisfied in my last job, because I worked directly with the customers and their problems; that is an important part of the job for me."

          What Can You Do for Us That Other Candidates Can't?

          What makes you unique? This will take an assessment of your experiences, skills and traits. Summarize concisely: "I have a unique combination of strong technical skills, and the ability to build strong customer relationships. This allows me to use my knowledge and break down inf rmation to be more user-friendly."

          What Are Three Positive Things Your Last Boss Would Say About You?

          It's time to pull out your old perf rmance appraisals and boss's quotes. This is a great way to brag about yourself through someone else's words: "My boss has told me that I am the best designer he has ever had. He knows he can rely on me, and he likes my sense of humor."

          What Salary Are You Seeking?

          It is to your advantage if the employer tells you the range first. Prepare by knowing the going rate in your area, and your bottom line or walk-away point. One possible answer would be: "I am sure when the time comes, we can agree on a reasonable amount. In what range do you typically pay someone with my background?"

          If You Were an Animal, Which One Would You Want to Be?

          Interviewers use this type of psychological question to see if you can think quickly. If you answer "a bunny," you will make a soft, passive impression. If you answer "a lion," you will be seen as aggressive. What type of personality would it take to get the job done? What impression do you want to make?

          面試:如何回答工作期望問(wèn)題工作期望是面試中一個(gè)必問(wèn)問(wèn)題之一。通常面試官都會(huì)問(wèn)你想從工作中的到什么,或是你三到五年內(nèi)的計(jì)劃。那么,該如何回答這樣的問(wèn)題呢?下面兩個(gè)案例會(huì)給你一點(diǎn)啟示。

          Case One

          Interviewer: What do you want most from your work?

          你最希望從工作中得到什么?

          Applicant: I hope to get a kind of learning, to get skills from my work. Though I have studied in school for nearly 16 years, I have only learned knowledge. In the university, I got no chance to see real life and didn get working skills. So I want to learn some working skills and become a professional in an industry.

          我最希望得到的是一種學(xué)習(xí),能讓我學(xué)到工作的技能。雖然我已經(jīng)在學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)了快16年,但只是學(xué)習(xí)到了知識(shí),在學(xué)校里,沒(méi)有機(jī)會(huì)接觸到真正的社會(huì),沒(méi)有掌握一項(xiàng)工作技能,所以我最希望獲得一項(xiàng)工作的技能,能夠成為某一個(gè)行業(yè)領(lǐng)域的專(zhuān)業(yè)人士。

          Interviewer: Why did you choose us?

          你為什么選擇到我們公司來(lái)應(yīng)聘?

          Applicant: As the saying goes, "well begun is half done". Your company is a famous one in the industry and boasts a high reputation. I hope to choose your company as the beginning of my career. I can not only learn new things, but set a solid foundation for my future career as well.

          俗話說(shuō)"良好的開(kāi)端是成功的一半"。貴公司是行業(yè)內(nèi)的知名公司,享有很高的聲譽(yù)。我希望選擇貴公司作為事業(yè)的開(kāi)端,不僅可以學(xué)到新東西,而且為我將來(lái)的發(fā)展打下良好的基礎(chǔ)。

          Case Two

          Interviewer: What do you hope this job will give you?

          你最希望這份工作給予你什么?

          Applicant: I hope this job will give me a chance to take responsibility. In more than ten years of study as a student, I have never taken any responsibility in any real sense or earned money for a company. I think people can only become mature by taking on responsibility. I hope this work will give me the chance to develop fully.

          我希望這份工作可以給我一個(gè)承擔(dān)職責(zé)的機(jī)會(huì)。在過(guò)去十幾年的學(xué)習(xí)生涯中,作為一名學(xué)生,我從來(lái)沒(méi)有在真正意義上承擔(dān)過(guò)責(zé)任,為一個(gè)企業(yè)盈利。我認(rèn)為,人是通過(guò)承擔(dān)一定的責(zé)任才能成長(zhǎng)、成熟的,我希望這份工作能夠給予我發(fā)展的機(jī)會(huì)。

          以上例子從學(xué)習(xí)和承擔(dān)職責(zé)的角度出發(fā),都十分注重能力的培養(yǎng),這會(huì)讓面試官覺(jué)得求職者不是一個(gè)功利心很強(qiáng)的人,給面試官留下好印象。

          面試:如何應(yīng)對(duì)角色扮演的問(wèn)題

          角色扮演是各大外企招聘時(shí)經(jīng)常采用的方式之一;卮疬@類(lèi)問(wèn)題的要點(diǎn)是應(yīng)聘者一定要設(shè)身處地、把自己當(dāng)作角色中的人物。另外,基于任何角色提出的問(wèn)題根本的目的是要考察應(yīng)聘者對(duì)公司的態(tài)度,所以在角色扮演時(shí),要把自己想象成該角色,也要站在全公司的角度來(lái)考慮問(wèn)題,所謂大處著眼、小處著手,方能立于不敗之地。

          Case One

          Interviewer: You are a director of our company and you are in charge of a project. There are six people in the project team. Due to different opinions, the team is split into two parts at a meeting and they are debating ferociously. At this time, as a leader, what will you do to coordinate the two parts? If the two parts disagree, what will you do then?

          如果你已經(jīng)成為我公司的一名主管,由你負(fù)責(zé)管理一個(gè)項(xiàng)目。在該項(xiàng)目的團(tuán)隊(duì)中一共有六個(gè)人。在一次會(huì)議上,由于觀點(diǎn)不同,團(tuán)隊(duì)分成兩派,,進(jìn)行了激烈的爭(zhēng)論,這時(shí),你作為領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者該如何協(xié)調(diào)?如果兩方不能達(dá)成共識(shí),你又會(huì)怎么辦?

          Applicant: First, I will listen to both sides carefully, and make my own judgment. If I prefer one side, I will give facts and data to persuade the other side. If my opinion is between the two sides, I will also give facts and data to prove my opinion right. It is better that the two sides will agree on it. If not, I will stick to my opinion and allow the colleagues who keep reserved opinions to give more data and communicate with me. In short, my principle is that everything should be based on data and facts. Every colleague has the right to express his opinion. I will try my best to make all people agree on one thing. If I fail, I will make my decision, as a leader.

          首先我會(huì)仔細(xì)聆聽(tīng)雙方的觀點(diǎn)和理由,并作出我的判斷。如果我傾向于其中一方的觀點(diǎn),我會(huì)拿出數(shù)據(jù)和事實(shí)來(lái)說(shuō)服另一方;如果我的觀點(diǎn)是介于兩者之間,我同樣會(huì)基于數(shù)據(jù)和事實(shí)來(lái)證明我的立場(chǎng)。如果最后大家能夠達(dá)成共識(shí)自然最好。如果不能,我會(huì)堅(jiān)持我的觀點(diǎn),但允許持保留意見(jiàn)的同事拿出更多的數(shù)據(jù)來(lái)和我溝通?傊业脑瓌t是,用數(shù)據(jù)和事實(shí)說(shuō)話,每一位同事都有權(quán)表達(dá)他的觀點(diǎn),我會(huì)盡量讓大家達(dá)成共識(shí)。如果不行,那作為領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者,我會(huì)做出一個(gè)決定。

          到外企應(yīng)聘如何準(zhǔn)備英文RESUME

          一份出色的Resume,是向外企求職的關(guān)鍵之一。不了解有關(guān)的常識(shí)和程式,不花費(fèi)相當(dāng)?shù)男乃紒?lái)展示,以有純正嫻熟的英文功底,決不能獲得單位的青睞。在一大堆錯(cuò)誤百出、英文表達(dá)能力低劣或平庸,毫無(wú)針對(duì)性和創(chuàng)造性的Resume中,你的那份若能讓人眼睛一亮,成功的機(jī)會(huì)必將大大增加,以下試著結(jié)合一個(gè)具體的例子給出說(shuō)明和評(píng)述。

          Balance Sheet:

          基本方法選取適當(dāng)?shù)墓ぷ骱螅仨毧辞逭衅笍V告上所列出的每項(xiàng)要求,再將自己的學(xué)歷、能力與興趣逐一與之比較,作一張balance sheet.

          例如,一則關(guān)于marketing management trainee和job requirement是這樣寫(xiě)的:

          We are looking for a competent person to fill the captioned position:

          University graduate majors in Marketing Management. Prepared to develop career in the commercial field

          -outgoing personality

          -Able to communicate with different levels

          -Good knowledge in PC operations -Proficiency in written and spoken English/Mandarin

          則你相應(yīng)地考慮自己的qualification的選擇和表述,如你可寫(xiě)(與上列各項(xiàng)對(duì)應(yīng)):

          -University graduate with major in Marketing

          -Having actively participated in Business club‘s activities and learned accounting and management

          -Good in communication with people and like a lot of out door activities know how to tackle with people from all walks of life

          -Skillful in operating Words,Excel,Lotus1-2-3,etc

          -Fluent in English and studied advanced level of Mandarin

          這個(gè)方法的好處是可讓求職者清楚了解該職位是否適合自己,而本身資料又是否切合要求,而且,明白了各項(xiàng)要求后,就可依據(jù)每一點(diǎn)在履歷表上重點(diǎn)提出自己在該方面的強(qiáng)項(xiàng)。突出賣(mài)點(diǎn)(selling point),將之放在最吸引別人的地方,使招聘者一眼可見(jiàn),有利于present自己。

          英文簡(jiǎn)歷不完全攻略

          經(jīng)常看到有人發(fā)翻譯簡(jiǎn)歷的貼子。其實(shí)我個(gè)人認(rèn)為簡(jiǎn)歷的翻譯并沒(méi)有定式,可自由發(fā)揮。但是有一個(gè)原則關(guān)系到別人看了你的英文簡(jiǎn)歷后對(duì)你的英文水平的第一印象,那就是簡(jiǎn)歷中地用詞,句子,表達(dá)方式等一定要地道。也就是說(shuō)不能帶有太多的所謂中式英語(yǔ),讓別人一看就覺(jué)得很不爽。

          最近我有幸得到一些老外(包括非英語(yǔ)國(guó)家)的簡(jiǎn)歷,看了以后頗有收獲,拿來(lái)共享心得。題目雖然是《完全攻略》,但時(shí)間倉(cāng)促,難免有理解錯(cuò)誤,或者不完整的地方還希望大家指正,補(bǔ)充?偟膩(lái)說(shuō),看完這些英文簡(jiǎn)歷給我的感覺(jué)是:與其把中文簡(jiǎn)歷翻譯成英文,還不如用英文再寫(xiě)一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)歷。這樣完全按照英文的思維方式和習(xí)慣作為出發(fā)點(diǎn)寫(xiě)出的簡(jiǎn)歷才會(huì)更地道。

          一、簡(jiǎn)歷的結(jié)構(gòu)

          首先,整個(gè)簡(jiǎn)歷要分成若干部分:基本情況、自我介紹、教育經(jīng)歷、工作經(jīng)歷等等。這些部分如何分完全憑自己掌握。但是有些不內(nèi)容是必不可少的。下面就列出我在這些簡(jiǎn)歷上看到的欄目:

          我注意到大部分簡(jiǎn)歷的最上方(標(biāo)題的位置)都是求職者的姓名和聯(lián)系方式。也有某些簡(jiǎn)歷用名字作為標(biāo)題,然后下面的位置寫(xiě)上了自己的求職意向或者聯(lián)系方式。而有些則是把聯(lián)系方式做成頁(yè)眉的效果。和這種方式能讓閱讀者對(duì)此人的姓名聯(lián)系方式和求職意向一目了然,可以提高效率,并且對(duì)求職者有比較深刻的印象。由此可見(jiàn)她們的共同點(diǎn)是:大多以姓名作為大標(biāo)題,然后再顯眼的地方注明聯(lián)系方式和求職意向。

          接下來(lái)算是簡(jiǎn)歷的正文。所有的簡(jiǎn)歷都把教育經(jīng)歷放在首位?磥(lái)教育背景還是對(duì)方關(guān)注的首要問(wèn)題。教育背景是按照時(shí)間倒序排列的,最近的放在最上面。有的是時(shí)間寫(xiě)在前面,緊跟學(xué)校、專(zhuān)業(yè)作為條目的標(biāo)題,或者把學(xué)校、專(zhuān)業(yè)放前面,后面跟時(shí)間。標(biāo)題下面是具體的介紹。

          然后是工作經(jīng)歷,格式和教育背景基本一致。某些簡(jiǎn)歷在教育背景和工作經(jīng)歷之間還加上了學(xué)過(guò)的和專(zhuān)業(yè)相關(guān)的課程,培訓(xùn)班等。而在工經(jīng)理后面還可以加上參加過(guò)的志愿者工作等。

          以上是簡(jiǎn)歷中的重頭戲。接下來(lái)的內(nèi)容大多是自己掌握的技能,語(yǔ)言能力和計(jì)算機(jī)能力。有時(shí)還有個(gè)人愛(ài)好等更全面介紹自己的內(nèi)容。

          二、簡(jiǎn)歷的用詞翻譯

          下面列出一些中英文對(duì)照(有的地方可以用多個(gè)英文單詞表示,用 | 隔開(kāi),這里列出的只是簡(jiǎn)歷中出現(xiàn)的,也許并不僅限于這些):

          求職意向 ------- Objective

          Objective這個(gè)詞在電腦游戲中出現(xiàn)的頻率很高。一般是作為每關(guān)之前的任務(wù)介紹。直譯就是目標(biāo)、目的。如果有Objective,一般放在正文的第一欄。

          教育背景 --------Education | Education and Qualifications

          都用這個(gè),background就不要加上了,有點(diǎn)中式英語(yǔ)的嫌疑。如果包含了一些認(rèn)證培訓(xùn)之類(lèi)的,可以寫(xiě)成 Education and Qualifications.

          個(gè)人介紹、自我評(píng)價(jià) -------- PERSONALITY HIGHLIGHTS | SYNOPSIS

          SYNOPSIS這個(gè)詞比較籠統(tǒng),內(nèi)容可以自由些,包括個(gè)人性格,目前狀況等。

          PERSONALITY HIGHLIGHTS 偏重于介紹自己的優(yōu)勢(shì)、優(yōu)點(diǎn)等。

          工作經(jīng)歷 ---------- Experience | Work(ing) Experience | JOB EXPERIENCE | EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE

          這些都是大同小異。也有個(gè)人用 EMPLOYMENT HIGHLIGHTS。

          我注意到有個(gè)人在Work Experience 的位置用了 Research Experience, 再細(xì)看內(nèi)容才發(fā)現(xiàn)此人的經(jīng)歷都是研究性質(zhì)的工作,包括在大學(xué)期間從事的一些研究。

          參加過(guò)的活動(dòng)(包括校內(nèi)) ------- ACTIVITIES

          ACTIVITIES最普遍,所有的活動(dòng)都包括了,比較好用。

          Campus Involvement & Activities 這里加上compus 那就僅限于在學(xué)校的。這里的 Involvement 我猜想指的是參加社團(tuán)或者某個(gè)組織的這種長(zhǎng)期的活動(dòng)。而Activities則不限。

          榮譽(yù)、獎(jiǎng)勵(lì) -------- Honors | Awards

          有些干脆就用 Honors & Awards

          剩下的一些

          技能 ---- Skills | Additional Skills

          愛(ài)好 ----- HOBBIES

          計(jì)算機(jī)技能 ------ Computer Skills 也可以作為Skills的一部分。

          志愿者經(jīng)歷 ----- VOLUNTEERING

          接下來(lái)介紹一下具體內(nèi)容的翻譯。

          流利使用某種語(yǔ)言: Fluent in XXX

          普通話: Mandarin Chinese

          熟悉......:Familiar with....

          精通.... :proficient with | Advanced Skills in.... | Advanced Software User: (列出精通使用的軟件名稱(chēng))

          個(gè)人、人: individual (注意不要用person什么的)

          關(guān)于語(yǔ)言能力的: Daily Spoken (經(jīng)常使用的), Training Obtained(受過(guò)培訓(xùn)的---我想不僅限于語(yǔ)言能力)

          三、總結(jié)

          這些簡(jiǎn)歷給我的最大感受是,簡(jiǎn)練。沒(méi)有廢話,有些地方甚至省略掉主語(yǔ)例如: Activities: President of College Democrats,中文簡(jiǎn)歷中一般會(huì)說(shuō)"曾擔(dān)任校學(xué)生會(huì)主席",而你要死板的翻譯成英文就很羅嗦:" Ive been the President of the Students Union of the college" ,不如就說(shuō) "President of the Students Union ",能簡(jiǎn)單盡量簡(jiǎn)單,至于是校學(xué)生會(huì),還是系學(xué)生會(huì)不必在乎,再說(shuō)真的在乎的話面試的時(shí)候有機(jī)會(huì)的。而且語(yǔ)言簡(jiǎn)練不容易出錯(cuò),何樂(lè)而不為。

          在碰到一些不太好翻譯的詞匯時(shí),不用著急,可以自己創(chuàng)造,只要能正確表達(dá)出中文詞匯的含義即可。畢竟兩種語(yǔ)言之間不是映射表的關(guān)系。

          我看到一份簡(jiǎn)歷在Education后面還加上了,Double Majors 和 Higher Level Course Work, 這樣把突出的教育經(jīng)歷或者工作經(jīng)歷單獨(dú)列出來(lái),容易引起關(guān)注,是個(gè)好方法。

          總之,要做到簡(jiǎn)練,結(jié)構(gòu)清楚,表達(dá)明確,不出現(xiàn)錯(cuò)誤,就是一個(gè)合格的英文簡(jiǎn)歷。

          英文求職信七步寫(xiě)作法

          求職信分為推薦信和自薦信兩種,它是書(shū)面表達(dá)的重要體裁之一,也是高考書(shū)面表達(dá)的熱點(diǎn)內(nèi)容。寫(xiě)求職信可按下列七個(gè)步驟進(jìn)行。下面舉例說(shuō)明:

          假設(shè)你叫李平,你從報(bào)上得知某公司欲招聘一名英語(yǔ)翻譯,請(qǐng)你給該公司經(jīng)理寫(xiě)一份求職信,你的個(gè)人資料如下:

          1.簡(jiǎn)況:姓名,李平;年齡,30歲;身高,1.80米;健康狀況,良好;業(yè)余愛(ài)好,游泳、唱歌、跳舞。

          2.簡(jiǎn)歷:1994年北京大學(xué)畢業(yè)后分配到南通中學(xué)工作,1996年調(diào)至蘇州中學(xué)工作至今。

          3.工作:工作認(rèn)真負(fù)責(zé),與人相處融洽。

          4.特長(zhǎng):精通英語(yǔ),尤其口語(yǔ),已將多本中文書(shū)籍譯成英語(yǔ),懂一些日語(yǔ)、能用日語(yǔ)與外賓對(duì)話。

          聯(lián)系電話:3654731

          聯(lián)系地址:蘇州市人民路一號(hào)

          第一步:介紹消息來(lái)源

          介紹消息來(lái)源實(shí)際上是求職信的開(kāi)篇交待句,它可使求職信顯得自然、順暢;而不介紹消息來(lái)源,會(huì)使收信人感到意外、突然,文章也缺乏過(guò)渡、照應(yīng),本文消息來(lái)源可作如下介紹:

          Dear manager,

          I learned from the newspaper that your company wanted to hire an English translator.

          第二步:表明求職心愿

          介紹完消息來(lái)源后,應(yīng)向收信人表明自己的求職心愿,即寫(xiě)信的目的,本文求職心愿可作如下介紹:

          Im interested in this job very much. Id like to get this job.

          第三步:介紹個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷

          某單位需要新人,求職人也有求職心愿,但這并不意味著這項(xiàng)工作非你莫屬。如果你沒(méi)有干好這項(xiàng)工作的經(jīng)歷、實(shí)力,也是難以適應(yīng)的。因此,介紹個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷是必不可少的。本文個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)歷可介紹如下:

          Now Id like to introduce myself to you. My name is Li Ping. Im 30 years old. Im 180 cm tall. Im healthy. I like swimming, singing and dancing in my spare time. I graduated from Beijing University in 1994.Then,I went to work in Nantong Middle School.In 1996,I began to work in Suzhou Middle School and I have worked there until now.

          第四步:擺出求職優(yōu)勢(shì)

          僅有一定的工作經(jīng)歷而沒(méi)有自身的優(yōu)勢(shì)和特長(zhǎng),也很難求得稱(chēng)心如意的工作。因此,求職時(shí)應(yīng)表明自己除了具有一定的工作經(jīng)歷之外,還具有一定的優(yōu)勢(shì)和特長(zhǎng),這樣才能穩(wěn)操勝券。本文可通過(guò)如下方法擺出自己的優(yōu)勢(shì):

          I work hard and I can get along well with others. Im good at English and especially my spoken English is very good. Ive translated many Chinese books into English. I can understand Japanese and I can talk to foreigners in Japanese freely.

          第五步:提出獲職打算

          豐富的工作經(jīng)驗(yàn),一定的優(yōu)勢(shì)和特長(zhǎng),只能代表過(guò)去和現(xiàn)在的情況,如果獲職后自以為心愿已了,從此高枕無(wú)憂,馬虎從事,那也是得不到用人單位認(rèn)可的。顯然表明獲職后努力工作的決心是感動(dòng)用人單位的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)從而順利謀得此項(xiàng)工作的重要一環(huán)。本文獲職打算可作如下介紹:

          If you agree with me, Ill work hard and try to be a good translator.

          第六步:請(qǐng)求答復(fù)聯(lián)系

          如果單位領(lǐng)導(dǎo)同意了你的求職要求,你必然要請(qǐng)他和你聯(lián)系,以便你及時(shí)做好準(zhǔn)備,到用人單位應(yīng)聘或報(bào)到。為準(zhǔn)確起見(jiàn),請(qǐng)求答復(fù)聯(lián)系時(shí)你還應(yīng)當(dāng)提供你的通訊地址、郵政編碼、電話號(hào)碼、電子信箱等。本文答復(fù)聯(lián)系的內(nèi)容可作如下介紹:

          If you agree with me, please write a letter to me or phone me. I live at No.1 Renmin Road,Suzhou city. My telephone number is 3654371.

          第七步:表明感激之情

          無(wú)論你的請(qǐng)求是否能夠得到滿意的答復(fù),你給用人單位寫(xiě)信就是給對(duì)方添了麻煩,因此你應(yīng)向?qū)Ψ奖砻鞲屑ぶ。本文可這樣來(lái)表明感激之情:

          Thank you very much.

          上述七步內(nèi)容聯(lián)成一個(gè)整體,再加上下面的信尾,就成為一封完整的求職信。

          Yours Truly

          LiPing

          英文求職信七步寫(xiě)作法

          求職信分為推薦信和自薦信兩種,它是書(shū)面表達(dá)的重要體裁之一,也是高考書(shū)面表達(dá)的熱點(diǎn)內(nèi)容。寫(xiě)求職信可按下列七個(gè)步驟進(jìn)行。下面舉例說(shuō)明:

          假設(shè)你叫李平,你從報(bào)上得知某公司欲招聘一名英語(yǔ)翻譯,請(qǐng)你給該公司經(jīng)理寫(xiě)一份求職信,你的個(gè)人資料如下:
