母親節(jié)的到來,對于我們來說:激動人心!禮物免不了,乖巧少不了!
The arrival of mother's day, for us: exciting! Gift is inevitable, clever is indispensable!
母親節(jié)最早起源于古希臘，儀式是由希臘人向希臘眾神之母希布莉致敬。之后傳到古羅馬，活動規(guī)模變得更大，慶祝盛況往往持續(xù)達三天之久。傳到英國時，英國人把封齋期的第四個星期天作為母親節(jié)。最后到美國，美利堅合眾國國會于1914年正式命名5月的第二個星期日為母親節(jié)。
Mother's Day originated in ancient Greece. The ceremony was held by Greeks to pay homage to the mother of Greek gods. Later, it spread to ancient Rome, and the scale of the activities became larger. The celebrations often lasted for three days. When it came to England, the British regarded the fourth Sunday of the fast as mother's day. Finally to the United States, the Congress of the United States of America officially named the second Sunday of may as mother's day in 1914.
