各位家長，大家下午好！
我是本學期擔任四（1）班英語教學的韋老師，很多家長也許是第一次見到我，大家彼此間可能比較陌生。首先，我想和各位家長談談兩個禮拜下來，我對這個班級，學生英語情況的印象。這個班級的學生對英語學習的興趣還是比較濃厚的，這兩個禮拜，從課堂中的反應可以看出。每次我用多媒體課件上課，學生學習新知識的熱情是高漲的。這說明，四（1）班的孩子在英語學習上擁有一定的優(yōu)勢。但是，本班學生整體動作很慢，不容各位家長忽視，兩周多的學習下來，只有×××、×××等5位同學，基本上課堂上能很順暢地完成我布置的練習。其他同學都是定定心心，一筆一劃地書寫，在第一個禮拜，黑板上的詞組抄寫，我就發(fā)現(xiàn)，有很多同學在抄寫詞組的時候，喜歡看一個字母寫一個字母，這樣以來，10個英文詞組都要抄寫5分鐘左右。在某種程度上，動作慢，就是體現(xiàn)了某個知識點的'不熟練性。
兩周多下來，我們已經教了兩個單元，第一單元在默寫本默寫過一次，在英語紙上默寫了1次，總體成績一般。我?guī)Я?——6年級兩個大循環(huán)，比較熟悉這套英語教材，知道學生在各個年級段，該掌握到怎樣一個程度。四年級的英語學習，在整個小學階段處于一個絕對的主導作用，因為三到四年級的轉換中，對學生英語學習的要求發(fā)生了質的變化，也許，你的孩子在三年級的時候，英語也沒怎么多花功夫，也沒去參加什么業(yè)余輔導或者培訓，英語成績基本在90以上，甚至是95分左右。那么，隨著時間的推移，你會發(fā)現(xiàn)，你的孩子依然像三年級那樣，回家后讀讀書、聽聽磁帶，偶爾看看做過的英語試卷，那么英語成績并不會像三年級那么相對優(yōu)異了。四年級，英語的背誦和默寫是相當重要的，培養(yǎng)孩子一個背誦和默寫的習慣，就是在培養(yǎng)孩子對英語知識反饋的重要途徑。所以，這歸根結底，又會涉及到孩子的作業(yè)速度。速度快了，時間就擠出來了，就有時間多背背多默默，那么，他所學知識的較之前所擁有的，也就扎實了，這樣，質量也就出來了。其實，這是最理想化的良性循環(huán)的學習方式。家長真的只是監(jiān)督而不是陪做，這適用于每門科目，不僅僅是英語的學習。下面，說說在我的英語教學中，一些常規(guī)性的工作。 1、在英語作業(yè)本方面，基本是1號、2號、自備本。一般
情況下，英語作業(yè)會記在當天所要做的那本本子上，自備本一般是回家默寫本。
2、每個孩子準備一本《英語筆記本》，記錄下每一個單元
相關的重要知識，有些是語法點，有些是注意點，有些是常錯誤點�？傊⒄Z筆記本的作用是相當大的，因為是剛開學，英語筆記本上，記得也不多。接下來的時間，我會充分利用好這本英語筆記本，也請家長留下這樣一個概念：英語筆記本上的內容是精華部分，是重要知識點，是您的孩子在考卷、練習中出錯的習題。每天回去讀、背筆記本上的內容也是孩子每天的必修課。讀多少可以控制，但是要形成讀、背的習慣。
3、4A英語書上、每個單元的A、E部分逐個到老師這里
過關，我會在過關的部分做好記號，一目了然，家長可以隨時看您的孩子，哪一課過關了，哪一課還不是很熟練，需要再加強讀背的。
4、英語預習方面，聽讀課文磁帶非常重要，預習時，整個
單元的錄音，至少聽上三遍。A部分是短文；B部分是單詞；C、D部分是本單元句型練習。E部分是小對話。R部分是語音。G部分是內容延伸。在預習英語時，A部分在預習時，可以翻譯成中文，B部分熟讀，C、D部分，按照提示的句型結構，試著先寫寫。預習工作，做得越扎實，也就越能保障在課堂中學習的效率。
總之，提高本班同學的作業(yè)速度，是我們三位主課老師以及在座各位家長的當務之急，應該說是刻不容緩。讓你的孩子養(yǎng)成自覺學習的好習慣，成為學習的主人，老師作為學習的引領者，家長作為督促者，真正讓孩子相對地學的輕松，但是學得扎實、有效！
