        2.3.1 晉升機制

        在投行的職業發展道路

        首先,進入投資銀行的途徑通常有兩種:途徑之一,認識圈子中的人,有他人推薦或者介紹;途徑之二,校園招聘。

        從級別上來講,從低到高大致有這些層次:

        Analyst(分析員,一般國外名校本科畢業、或者國內名校本科研究生畢業)

        Associate(經理,從分析員升任或從國外名校 MBA 招聘)

        VP(副總裁,從經理升任)

        Director(董事,從 VP 升任)

        Managing Director(董事總經理,從 Director 升任)。

        上述稱謂不同的銀行有所不同,但本質相通。一般來說,每一級別之間大致相差三年的工作經驗,按資升級。

        越往上,人才在不同銀行之間的流動情況越普遍。從功能上來講,投資銀行的人大致分為做客戶關系管理的和做業務實施的。前者一般相對應的級別比較高,通常 VP 和以上為主;后者雖然各級別的人都會做,但是主要工作集中在 Analyst 到 VP 這幾個級別。

        進入投資銀行業后,通常情況下,你應負責把你接受的每一個項目及時做好,無論是寫報告、繪制電子表格、談生意、做研發還是制定工作計劃。然后,一旦有機會接觸客戶并參與創造利潤,如果你能為公司談成生意,回報將相當豐厚。如果你已經成為高管(通常為董事,董事總經理及更高層管理人員),你必須要承擔更多的風險。

        在這種職位上不能很好地勝任工作的人,就要被迫離職。簡單而言,如果想做到 Director 以上或者做客戶關系管理,即拉業務為主,要么你從底層爬上來,積聚了良好的專業素質、客戶服務經驗以及廣闊的人脈,要么是因為家庭的背景,或者行業的長期經驗和人脈。其它可能性不大。
